Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The legal representative of the Pentecostal Assembly of God in Angola, Reverend Francisco Domingos Sebastia\u0303o, reaffirmed Saturday, in Huambo, the church’s commitment to continuing to pay special attention to the process of recovering moral values.<\/b><\/p>\n

The religious, who was speaking during the graduation ceremony of 25 finalists of the Theology course, from the Theological Faculty of the Pentecostal Assembly of God (FATAD), said that, due to the current difficult situation, marked by social degradation, the church will continue influence good and rescue the useful values \u200b\u200bof Angolan society.<\/p>\n

To this end, he defended the need for Christians to increasingly reinforce the transmission of messages of well-being, appreciation and construction of a healthy and fair society.<\/p>\n

The reverend informed that the Pentecostal Assembly of God, through its social institutions, has helped the Angolan Government in several actions, especially in the education sector, with the opening of more classrooms in remote areas and other solidarity activities.<\/p>\n

Regarding new graduates from FATAD, he said it is a benefit for society, as the graduates can influence greater humility and encourage youth to abstain from evil practices.<\/p>\n

He explained that FATAD is a higher theological school open to society, where Christians from at least 30 religious denominations in the country study.<\/p>\n

In turn, the director of the Education office of the province of Huambo, Ma\u0301rio Jose\u0301 da Costa Rodrigues, representing Governor Lotti Nolika, said it was important to have people prepared in society to talk about God to men.<\/p>\n

It bodes for greater assistance to finalists in the tasks of harmonizing society, through the theological knowledge learned, in a world where people are increasingly concerned with the material and not the spiritual dimension.<\/p>\n

Of the 25 finalists graduated in Theology, 14 have bachelor’s degrees and 11 graduates, who began higher education in 2015.<\/p>\n

FATAD, with two centers (Huambo and Luanda), is an academic institution of the Pentecostal Assembly of God Church in Angola with the mission of preparing ecclesiastical cadres at the bachelor’s and degree levels in Applied Theology.<\/p>\n

The theological training program at higher level began on June 2, 1997, at the premises of the Instituto Bi\u0301blico de Angola (IBA), in the Boa Esperanc\u0327a neighborhood, Kikolo commune, Cacuaco municipality, Luanda province.<\/p>\n

Its implementation resulted from a vision of the missionary couple Bill Riu, from the Assembly of God of the United States of America, in convergence with the national leadership of this religious denomination in Angola.<\/p>\n
