Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Reinforcing availability of technical-professional training, housing and employment for young people in Angola is one of the main focuses of the agenda of the Association of Volunteers for the Progress of Angola (AVPA), which has people at the center of its actions most vulnerable in the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the president of the National Board of Directors of this philanthropic association, Nelson Guilherme, the achievement of the respective challenge will essentially involve the commitment and commitment of all AVPA members, who must \u201cembody\u201d the spirit of volunteering and solidarity for support people in need.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the press, as part of the inauguration of members of the respective association, which took place recently in Luanda, the person responsible said that his organization also hopes to count on the support of partners to help meet the main needs of youth Angolan.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that this platform will work directly with youth and establish partnerships with various institutions, in order to act in different sectors of Angolan society, contributing to monitoring the implementation of the country’s public policies.<\/p>\n

Therefore, he considered it pertinent and opportune to combine synergies to respond to the call for volunteering, with concrete actions that make it possible to impact the lives of people who most need help in Angola, promoting the values \u200b\u200bof solidarity and progress.<\/p>\n

The president of AVPA also highlighted volunteering as a relationship of sociability, solidarity, disinterested and unpaid commitment for the benefit of people and communities, in addition to being an instrument of social, cultural, environmental and economic development, in a world in constant transformations.<\/p>\n

Because of this, Nelson Guilherme appeals to citizens who want to embrace the association’s cause to donate, as volunteering is a tool for social integration that allows society to progress.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a philanthropic association, AVPA aims to mobilize synergies and resources for the common good and social progress, with the engagement of each member of this association, as the best way to be happy is to contribute to the happiness of others\u201d, highlighted.<\/p>\n

He also highlighted that the association will act outside the country, with the Angolan community in the diaspora, with the purpose of contributing to raising the image and good name of Angola abroad.<\/p>\n

Along with Nelson Guilherme, Algenura Finda, vice-president, Jose\u0301 Ventura, general secretary, as well as the chairman of the general assembly, Andre\u0301 Zinga, as well as other elected members, are also part of the AVPA National Board of Directors. .<\/p>\n

Currently, the association has more than 90 members, also opening up possibilities for new registrations, which include young people committed to volunteering and solidarity with the most vulnerable.<\/p>\n

Founded on August 10, 2023, AVPA’s main objective is to work for vulnerable social sensitivities, carry out activities of national interest and propose possible solutions to supervisory bodies at all levels of the Angolan Government, through protocols and memoranda or other mechanisms necessary.<\/p>\n

Under the motto \u201cWith civility and patriotism, let us fight for the progress of Angola\u201d, this association arises in response to the appeal of the Angolan Executive, which in 2021, approved Law no 17\/21 of 30 July, on the Legal Regime of Volunteering, with a view to creating structures so that citizens are motivated to take up this challenge, promoting a culture of solidarity, social cohesion and reinforcement of citizenship values.<\/p>\n
