Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The pastor of the Evangelical Baptist Church in Angola (IEBA) in Zaire, Reverend Mayinzamene Garcia, highlighted Thursday, in Mbanza Kongo, the right of Angolans to make choices willingly and conscientiously as the main gain of Independence National.<\/b><\/p>\n

When speaking, around the 48th anniversary of the proclamation of national independence, to be celebrated on Saturday, 11 November, he highlighted that this milestone allowed the Angolan people to be the owners and decide their own destiny.<\/p>\n

\u201cNovember 11, 1975 was the premise for the Angolan people to gain the autonomy to work, think and freely elect their representatives in Parliament to deal with matters of national interest\u201d, he emphasized.<\/p>\n

As for tangible gains, the IEBA pastor listed the construction of roads and bridges, schools, health units, housing, airport infrastructure, oil refineries, electricity supply systems and drinking water supply in the region and in the country. in general.<\/p>\n

He asked Angolans to remain united and reconciled, working together and with love for the progress and development of the country, as well as the competent authorities to materialize all the projects that have been announced for Zaire.<\/p>\n

He repudiated the constant acts of vandalization of public assets made available to the population by the Government in the region.<\/p>\n

He said that, in addition to the proclamation of the gospel, his church continues to be engaged in the campaign to restore moral and civic values \u200b\u200band to pacify spirits within the Christian community.<\/p>\n

Angola celebrates 48 years of National Independence, on the 11th of this month. In Zaire, the date is being marked with various activities, with emphasis on the inauguration by the local government of social facilities in the most varied areas.<\/p>\n
