Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The works on the road network in Luanda province will cost the state coffers a total of US$268 million, covering 120 kilometres, according to a presidential order published in a daily newspaper.<\/b><\/p>\n

The document, signed by the Head of State, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, mentions that a simplified contracting procedure will be opened for the improvement of the capital’s road network, which includes deep interventions in an extension of about 120 kilometers, including the respective inspection services.<\/p>\n

Interventions include repairing holes and replacing pavement, construction of sidewalks and curbs, implementation of a surface drainage system and cleaning of collectors, repair\/construction of the public lighting system, horizontal and vertical signaling and tree planting, including nine intervention streets. one-off.<\/p>\n

The diploma, cited by Lusa, mentions that, in addition to the roads that have been intervened in the province of Luanda, there are interventions contracted in more than 29 streets in several municipalities, which, however, did not cover the entire road network in the province.<\/p>\n
