Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The new coordination of the Human Rights Committee of the province of Bie\u0301 will focus on prevention and dialogue with communities and authorities, with a view to increasingly avoiding violations of human rights.<\/b><\/p>\n

The new coordinator of the committee, the jurist Cristino Vale\u0301rio, who spoke at the inauguration of the members of this body, guided by the provincial governor, Pereira Alfredo, said that, for this, it will be a priority, for the next four years, to verify the conditions of detained in Bie\u0301 prisons, access to public transport, schools, among others.<\/p>\n

The Government of Bie\u0301 has been investing in the fulfillment of fundamental rights, within the framework of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, with the implementation, in the last five years, of nine human rights committees, and is now introducing communal ones, to safeguard city \u200b\u200bdwellers.<\/p>\n

Therefore, the governor of Bie\u0301, Pereira Alfredo, highlighted, in the act, that these rights, as they are fundamental, their protection must be a priority, whether for government or private authorities.<\/p>\n

Therefore, he asked this committee to boost its action aimed at guaranteeing and protecting human rights within the province of Bie\u0301, as well as contributing to safeguarding them among local communities.<\/p>\n

In addition to the coordinator, the deputy coordinator, Ade\u0301lia Ndavoka, and more than 20 members also took office.<\/p>\n

The former Human Rights Committee was coordinated by also jurist Aldino Gil, who performed these functions in a single four-year term.<\/p>\n
