Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Diplomat Alfredo Dombe delivered, on Friday, letters of credentials to the co-prince of Andorra, Joan Enric Vives Sici\u0301lia, at the Episcopal Palace, who accredit him as a non-resident ambassador to that State.<\/b><\/p>\n

After the official act, the ambassador held a meeting with the Co-Prince of Andorra.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Joan Enric Vives Sici\u0301lia highlighted that Angola received \u201ca blessing from God for its riches and youth that many countries do not have, and it is a country of many hopes\u201d.<\/p>\n

He also said that he has been following Angola’s role in mediating conflicts in the Great Lakes region and other missions assigned to it by the African Union in the pacification process.<\/p>\n

Before the ceremony, Alfredo Dombe, accredited ambassador and resident of Spain, also delivered the figurative letters to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Imma Tor Faus.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Alfredo Dombe expressed appreciation for the letter sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Andorra to the Embassy of Angola in the Kingdom of Spain, for the 48th anniversary of national independence, reaffirming the presence of Angola in Andorra as the beginning of the strengthening of bilateral and multilateral relations between the two States and the construction of societies that focus on peace and coexistence.<\/p>\n

For her part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Andorra, Imma Tor Faus, considered it an honor to strengthen relations with the government of Angola.<\/p>\n

Topics such as plurilingualism were also addressed, with particular focus on the community of Portuguese-speaking countries (CPLP), considering that Portuguese speakers are the 3rd largest community in Andorra.<\/p>\n

Andorra is the sixth smallest nation in Europe, with an area of \u200b\u200b468 km2 and a population of approximately 77,281 inhabitants.<\/p>\n
