Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>One hundred and 50 women from public institutions in the province of Hui\u0301la received training on good governance, for their empowerment and active participation in public life, and to influence good governance practices for development.<\/b><\/p>\n

This was the II phase of the \u201cWoman engaged in good governance\u201d project, which ran from July to October this year, with a cost of 11 thousand 996 dollars, provided by the Association of Young People Moved by Angola (AJOMA).<\/p>\n

After the end of the training session, the executive secretary of AJOMA, Paulo Ce\u0301sar, said that the project was financed by the Embassy of England, with the support of the Provincial Government of Hui\u0301la,<\/p>\n

He stated that during the four months of training, subjects related to \u201cAdvocacy and Gender Equality\u201d, \u201cPublic Policies\u201d, \u201cParticipatory Budgeting with Inclusive Governance Strategies\u201d, \u201cAssociations and Local Development and Principles of good Governance, entrepreneurship and business management”.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur mission as AJOMA is to contribute to the educational and cultural transformation of children, adolescents and young people, so that they can act autonomously in transforming their realities, as we are an organization committed to health, solidarity, development and well-being social\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

AJOMA has existed since 2003 and is a non-governmental, non-profit organization committed to health, solidarity, development and social well-being.<\/p>\n

Develops and promotes actions for social, economic and technological inclusion, human rights and gender equality, civic education and participatory governance, academic and professional training, environmental education and social justice, in favor of sustainable local development.<\/p>\n
