Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of State and Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Ada\u0303o de Almeida, defended this Tuesday, in Luanda, the need for greater publicity of the Simplifica 2.0 project, which aims to eliminate the \u201cunnecessary formalities\u201d arising access to public services and reduce the number of face-to-face services.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Simplifica 2.0 Project, approved by Presidential Decree No. 182\/22, of 22 June, provides for several simplification measures, de-bureaucratization, digitalization and integration of services, which covers Commercial, Commercial Service Provision and Industrial License.<\/p>\n

Ada\u0303o de Almeida, who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the one-day seminar on \u201cThe new legal regime for industrial and commercial licensing\u201d, promoted by the Industry and Commerce sector, said that the success of the program’s measures depends, in part, on the broad dissemination, to all actors in the chain, as well as the training of public administration staff.<\/p>\n

He added that the training of public administration employees aims to change behavior in the performance of their duties, for the success of the Simplifica 2.0 project.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe behavioral dimension in public services is important, as employees must have best practices and good ethical conduct\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

With Simplifica 2.0, he explained, regarding the Commercial License, which had a validity period of five years, will now be valid for an indefinite period.<\/p>\n

The Single Commercial License will also be established, adopting the attribution system by reference to the subject, that is, according to the activity to be carried out.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui Mingue\u0302ns de Oliveira highlighted the importance of the seminar for employees to learn about changes to the regulatory licensing process in industrial and commercial activities.<\/p>\n

The governor made it known that the services are being municipalized, and commercial and industrial licensing processes are already underway in many municipal administrations nationwide.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll municipalities are equipped and prepared to carry out their licensing function within commercial and industrial activities\u201d, he highlighted.<\/p>\n

Said training, he indicated, is the first step in the dissemination and training of the Simplifica 2.0 project, and will be carried out in a more extensive way at national level.<\/p>\n

The seminar, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, aimed to publicize the new licensing procedures for industrial and commercial activities in force.<\/p>\n

The event was attended by more than 80 participants, including representatives of ministerial departments with an interest in the matter, industrial and commercial associations, various chambers of commerce and industry and other public entities.<\/p>\n
