Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola is a “perfect space” to reflect on the culture of peace in Africa, for everything it has done to pacify the continent, said this Wednesday, in Luanda, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio.<\/b><\/p>\n

Within the framework of the 3rd Luanda Biennial, he highlighted that, as a champion of peace, appointed by the African Union, the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, has been an important actor in the stabilization of the continent.<\/p>\n

He stated that the culture of peace must be constantly addressed through in-depth and pedagogical work, so that it can be implemented on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

“The most solid bond that unites nations is culture”, stated Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, defending the need for a perfect marriage to seek stability combined with the peace agenda of the United Nations, the African Union and Angola.<\/p>\n

According to the minister, the culture of prevention must be rooted on the continent because war \u201cis born in people’s mentality\u201d and, to this end, there needs to be more meetings like the Luanda Biennial.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Minister of Agriculture, Anto\u0301nio Francisco de Assis, considered the promotion of the Pan-African Forum for Culture of Peace \u2013 Luanda Biennial, a unique moment for the country, as it brought together several personalities to interact on peace and education. as main elements for the development of the continent.<\/p>\n

In this context, he stated that Angolans are to be congratulated on the initiative, as it is another opportunity for Africans to reflect on the need to march together towards economic and social development.<\/p>\n

For the ambassador of the United States of America in Angola, Tulinabo Mushingi, the country has an important role in the pacification of the continent and this Biennale is a reflection of this commitment that everyone has witnessed.<\/p>\n

The 3rd edition of the Pan-African Forum for the Culture of Peace and Non-Violence – Luanda Biennial runs until the 24th of this month, under the motto: \u201cEducation, Culture of Peace and African Citizenship as Tools for the Development of the Continent\u201d .<\/p>\n
