Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Angolan Executive remains committed to improving good practices in the training of public servants, said the Minister of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security, Teresa Rodrigues Dias.<\/b><\/p>\n

The Angolan government official participates in Havana, capital of Cuba, in the XXXVIII International Congress of the Latin American Center for Development Administration, an international public organization of an intergovernmental nature.<\/p>\n

According to the minister, the Executive also remains engaged in attributing tools to adjust policies, in accordance with the approved instruments.<\/p>\n

The congress addresses topics such as \u201cinternational cooperation in uncertain times\u201d, \u201cthe threshold of a feminist civilization\u201d, \u201cintegration and lessons from the European Union\u201d and \u201cprofessionalization as a pillar of public administration in the 21st century\u201d.<\/p>\n

The event runs until Friday and promotes the exchange of experiences and knowledge regarding state reform and the modernization of public administration.<\/p>\n

The same takes place annually. On the eve of the event, the Minister of Management and Innovation in Public Services in Brazil, Esther Dweck, was elected to preside over the organization for the next two years.<\/p>\n

When it was created in 1972, the congress had the support of the United Nations General Assembly, with the idea of \u200b\u200bestablishing a regional entity that would have as its axis of action the modernization of public administrations, a strategic factor in the process of economic and social development. .<\/p>\n

The organization has 23 full member countries and one observer. Angola is the only effective member of the African continent.<\/p>\n

The Angolan delegation also includes the president of the Board of Directors of the National School of Administration and Public Policies, Sandra Rodrigues Alves, the advisor of the diplomatic mission in Havana, He\u0301lio Pimentel, and technicians from the Ministry of Finance.<\/p>\n
