Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The prices of basic food products from the second to the third week of this month, in Luanda, registered, in general terms, an increase of 1.86 percent, with tomatoes, with 22.76%, white sugar (10 .59%) and wheat flour (3.95%) were the goods that suffered the most price increases.<\/b><\/p>\n

In numerical terms, in the period under analysis, the maximum price for a kilogram of tomatoes was set at 2,690 kwanzas, in the formal market (Maxi), while the minimum price was Kz 895, in the \u201cCasa dos Frescos\u201d supermarket, according to published the Jornal de Angola.<\/p>\n

In the informal market, the same product cost a maximum of 900 kwanzas\/kg (Congolese market) and the minimum price was Kz 600, in the Catinton (Belas), Kikolo (Cacuaco) and Km 30 (Viana) markets, respectively. .<\/p>\n

As for white sugar, the Ma\u0301xi supermarket also topped the price list, selling a kilogram of this product for 1,890 kwanzas, compared to Kz 1,199 charged by Candando.<\/p>\n

In the informal sector, this product cost Kz 1,700, in the Congolese, Correios, Kifica and Kwanzas markets, while the minimum price was set at 1,400\/kg, in Kikolo.<\/p>\n

A kilogram of wheat flour was sold at 899 kwanzas (Candando), compared to Kz 550 charged at Angomart and Kero.<\/p>\n

The informal price of the same product varied between 600 and 400 kwanzas, in the Kifica and Kikolo markets, respectively.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, there was a price reduction in products such as beef, with 3.30%, bombo\u0301 cornmeal (1.16%) and spaghetti pasta (1.14%), in formal markets.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, informally, the prices of basic food products increased by 1.43 percent in general.<\/p>\n
