Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Executive Administrator for the Financial Area of \u200b\u200bthe Port of Luanda, Pedro Dozi, defended on Thursday, in Luanda, the need for companies to create strategic partnerships so that companies can strengthen relationships and influence the results achieved.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking at an event called Networking, promoted for the second consecutive year by the Port of Luanda, he highlighted that partnerships must be fruitful, producing satisfactory results.<\/p>\n

He added that the Port of Luanda attaches unique importance to the collaboration it maintains with its partners, suppliers of goods and services, at a time when it is entering a \u201cvery challenging\u201d complex local and international macroeconomic environment.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have to revitalize these relations and get closer and closer, because in this challenging economic environment, we believe that national relations alone are not enough\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n

Available data indicate that the Port of Luanda recorded, in the first three months of this year, a turnover of around 13.3 billion kwanzas, forecasting an annual business portfolio of 56 billion kwanzas.<\/p>\n

The Port of Luanda operates in the transport, logistics, supply chain and storage segment, being the largest logistics platform in Angola and the main entry and exit point for goods in the country.<\/p>\n

The infrastructure includes a Passenger Terminal, General Cargo, Multipurpose, Container, Multipurpose and Fuel terminals, as well as a Support Base for Petroleum Activity.<\/p>\n

Its management model is the Land Lord Port, in which the operation of the terminals is controlled by private entities, supervised and regulated by the port administration, personified by the Luanda Port Company – Public Company, which has existed for 77 years.<\/p>\n
