Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The cities of Lobito and Benguela will benefit, in the short term, from the installation of recycling bins for the recycling and reuse of solid waste, as well as the promotion of environmental education programs in schools and communities.<\/b><\/p>\n

Ecopoints are places or large containers that are used to selectively collect different types of waste (recyclable).<\/p>\n

In fact, the signing of a cooperation protocol for the installation of the aforementioned units is scheduled for next Tuesday (05), at the Lobito Municipal Administration. and For Africa.<\/p>\n

According to a press release from the promoters sent this Monday the \u201cEcopontos Benguela\u201d project reinforces the environmental sustainability actions that Coca-Cola and Refriango have developed in the country in recent years.<\/p>\n

The document states that the installation of two solid waste collection units in each city, with differentiated containers for depositing metal, paper, plastic and glass, in a first phase, aims to influence 50 thousand inhabitants of Benguela and Lobito on the importance of dispose of solid waste appropriately.<\/p>\n

This initiative also reinforces the commitment that Angola has made towards the issue of environmental preservation and sustainable development, aiming to build a cleaner and healthier future for everyone.<\/p>\n

In Angola, the province of Luanda is a pioneer in installing recycling bins in schools, markets, main avenues and other high-traffic areas.<\/p>\n
