{"id":51139,"date":"2023-12-06T16:00:01","date_gmt":"2023-12-06T16:00:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/?p=51139"},"modified":"2023-12-06T15:07:03","modified_gmt":"2023-12-06T15:07:03","slug":"igae-seizes-cne-vehicles-involved-in-taxi-service","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\/all-news\/igae-seizes-cne-vehicles-involved-in-taxi-service","title":{"rendered":"IGAE seizes CNE vehicles involved in taxi service"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>Two Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles belonging to the municipal electoral commissions of Ombadja and Cahama, Cunene province, were seized this Tuesday, by the General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE), for carrying out taxi activities.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The vehicles were caught loading passengers at the Oshomukuio market, heading to the municipality of Cuvelai, charging each person the amount of two thousand and 500 kwanzas.<\/p>\n<p>According to the IGAE spokesperson in Cunene, Fernando Santana, the seizure of public transport is the result of a complaint from the population, leading to the sending of a team made up of inspectors from IGAE, SIC and the National Police.<\/p>\n<p>He explained that they are acts of improbity, since the resources belong to the State and are prohibited from performing other types of services for their own benefit.<\/p>\n<p>He informed that those involved were handed over to the Criminal Investigation Service to better determine the veracity of the facts and subsequent appropriate accountability.<\/p>\n<p>Fernando Santana stressed that they will continue to take actions aimed at combating incorrect practices, reinforcing the need for more complaints from the population.<\/p>\n<p>During this year, IGAE recovered four vehicles allocated to the provincial Health office, which were improperly owned by employees and some responsible persons.<\/p>\n<p>The IGAE is an auxiliary body of the Executive with the objective of carrying out internal administrative control of the public administration, through inspection, inspection, audit, supervision, control, inquiry and investigations of all bodies, bodies and services of the direct and indirect administration of the State, as well as autonomous administrations.<\/p>\n<p>IGAE, created on January 17, 1992, is an auxiliary body of the President of the Republic, with the mission of carrying out internal control of public administration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\">Angola<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211; Angola.
