Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angolan actor Paulo Figueira will launch on December 8th, at the Pala\u0301cio de Ferro, in Luanda, the work in the literary genre \u201cMonges of Salem and the Outlawed Politician\u201d. <\/b><\/p>\n

The work, prefaced by Angolan writer Isabel Ferreira, has 153 pages and is divided into 20 chapters, under the seal of the publisher Caneta de Estilo.<\/p>\n

Paulo Figueira highlighted that the work is the result of fictional work, created over ten years.<\/p>\n

The actor also made it known that his first involvement with literature took place in his childhood, in a book that portrayed a love story lived on the border between the Malanjino and popular neighborhoods, where he spent his childhood, the manuscript of which has disappeared.<\/p>\n

The writer highlighted that his other works are linked to dramatic texts, due to his association with the world of theater, which has its own dynamic.<\/p>\n

The work also has releases scheduled in Portugal, Holland and the United States of America (USA), the latter where the author has taken up residence.<\/p>\n

Paulo Figueira, born in Malanje, has a degree in Computer Engineering from the Independent University of Angola and a master’s degree in Business Intelligence & Analytics from Saint Joseph’s University, in Philadelphia, United States.<\/p>\n

An engineer by profession and university teacher, since 2009, he has dedicated himself to the arts, having worked at the International Theater Association affiliated with UNESCO, the Angola University Theater Association and the Angola University Theater Festival.<\/p>\n

He is a founding member of the groups Atu Wa Ube Teatro, since 2001, and Teatro Universita\u0301rio Uniartes, in 2004.<\/p>\n
