Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola’s Rotating Presidency of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) during the 2023-2024 period dominated, on Thursday, in Beinjing, China, the meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Te\u0301te Anto\u0301nio, and the Group of Ambassadors of organization.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting also addressed the political and security situation in the Southern African Development Community, with emphasis on the conflicts in the East of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and Mozambique .<\/p>\n

SADC ambassadors also focused on the general elections in the region, mainly in DRC (December 2023), Union of Comoros (February 2024), South Africa (May 2024), Mozambique and Botswana (October 2024) , Namibia and Mauritius (November 2024).<\/p>\n
