Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The National Consumer Price Index (IPCN) registered a variation of 2.21%, from October to November 2023, registering an acceleration of 0.06%.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the Quick Information Sheet (FIR) of the National Consumer Price Index (IPCN), from the National Statistics Institute (INE), in year-on-year terms (November 2022 to November 2023), there is an acceleration in the current variation of 1 .39%.<\/p>\n

INE says that the provinces that recorded the lowest price variation were Moxico, with 1.28%, Malanje with 1.40% and Benguela with 1.41%.<\/p>\n

The institution points out that the provinces that recorded the greatest variation in prices were Luanda with 3.01%, Hui\u0301la with 1.82% and Cabinda with 1.76%.<\/p>\n

INE explains that the \u201cHealth\u201d class was the one that recorded the biggest price increase, with a variation of 2.69%.<\/p>\n

Also noteworthy are the price increases seen in the following classes: \u201cFood and non-alcoholic drinks\u201d with 2.61%, \u201cMiscellaneous goods and services\u201d with 2.49% and \u201cClothing and footwear\u201d with 2.47%.<\/p>\n

The \u201cFood and non-alcoholic beverages\u201d class contributed the most to the increase in the general price level with 1.53 percentage points, during the month of November, followed by the \u201cMiscellaneous goods and services\u201d classes with 0.17, \u201c Health\u201d with 0.11 percentage points, \u201cClothing and footwear\u201d with 0.10%, with the remaining classes having contributions of less than 0.10%.<\/p>\n
