Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>From the 17th to the 22nd of this month, one hundred and fifty exhibitors linked to the agricultural, technology, health, education and culture sectors will showcase their potential in the first edition of the Family Fair.<\/b><\/p>\n

Taking place on the Marginal de Luanda, the event aims to raise awareness among families about the need to preserve and enhance this social nucleus.<\/p>\n

At the opening ceremony, the municipal administrator of Luanda, Milca Caquesse, highlighted the importance of the fair as it helped to promote self-employment and formalize commerce.<\/p>\n

The fair, he continued, is also an opportunity for entrepreneurs to establish contacts with ministerial bodies, in order to boost their activity.<\/p>\n

For the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Rui de Oliveira, the fair is an opportunity to show the public, especially young people, the country’s countless agricultural, gastronomic and artistic potential.<\/p>\n

In his opinion, it is time to observe and learn how to do business with small producers.<\/p>\n

In turn, the Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, Anto\u0301nio de Assis, praised the role of family farming in the stability of Angolan families, noting that, despite being confused as a means of subsistence, this type of agriculture has been the main source income and employment of many families.<\/p>\n

The event, promoted by Multi Eventos, offers, among other attractions, several raffles for food baskets, cars and household appliances.<\/p>\n
