Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>A total of 1,700 coffee seedlings, including the Amboim, Ambriz and Cazengo varieties, were planted this year, in a space of 100 hectares, at the Satik farm, located in the commune of Cambondo, municipality of Golungo-Alto, province of Cuanza-Norte.<\/b><\/p>\n

Second the farm’s Production Director, Adriano Perassoli, the project is of scope private and its main focus is \u201cthe coffee production for commercialization in local, national and internationally, through partnerships that may arise in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

O responsible stated that the agricultural enterprise occupies a total space of one thousand hectares, of which 100 are filled with a universe of 1,700 seedlings coffee plants.<\/p>\n

Adriano Perassoli highlighted that coffee-type varieties are being experimented with Cazengo, Amboim and Ambriz, adapted to the local soils and climate, since the colonial, which in his opinion, \u201ccan be exported to the European market\u201d.<\/p>\n

O coffee grower also informed that the farm has a workforce of 200 national workers, a number that could grow with the increase in capacity planting, as well as during the harvesting phase.<\/p>\n

A municipal administrator of Golungo-Alto, Maria Ina\u0301cio, was satisfied with the materialization of the project in the region and encouraged the farmer to continue with the work, having guaranteed support, within the capabilities of management of its administration.<\/p>\n

Maria Ina\u0301cio visited several of the farm’s facilities, with particular emphasis on the new zone of 200 hectares already deforested. She was equally aware of the situation contractual status of employees who work on the farm.<\/p>\n
