Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the Provincial Electoral Commission (CPE) of Malanje, Jose\u0301 Muhongo, challenged the body’s technicians and commissioners Monday, to continuously train themselves to respond to the challenges imposed by the current technological context<\/b><\/p>\n

When speaking at the CPE’s end-of-year greeting ceremony, the person in charge highlighted that improving the functioning of the body in relation to the conduct and implementation of electoral processes requires permanent improvement in the professional skills of its staff.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the duties of the National Electoral Commission (CNE) do not end with the end of each electoral process, because, after holding an election, work must begin on the next one, with a view to preventing possible errors.<\/p>\n

In these stages, he stressed, the involvement of all employees is imperative, giving their best in compliance with the rules and deontological principles of public administration and the regulations that ensure the functioning of the CNE’s local bodies.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Jose\u0301 Muhongo pointed out the construction of buildings for some Municipal Electoral Commissions, through advocacy with central bodies, as another challenge they face, as some operate in leased infrastructures and others in spaces provided by municipal administrations. .<\/p>\n

The National Electoral Commission is an independent body that organizes, executes, coordinates and conducts electoral processes.<\/p>\n
