Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Writers associated with the Lev \u0301arte Movement defended in Lubango, Hui\u0301la province, the need for the government to subsidize literary publications, as a way of encouraging the expansion of literature in society.<\/b><\/p>\n

In this city, at the end of a cultural poetry event that marked the artistic cycle of the Lerv \u0301arte 2023 movement, over the weekend, the writers were unanimous in defending the need to pay more attention to those who write thought, for literary growth in Angola.<\/p>\n

The writer, Raz Nuimba Ngola, from Luanda, considered it pertinent to reframe the problem of lack of support, in order to project across borders what is produced in Angola, in terms of knowledge at all levels.<\/p>\n

For him, literature is an artistic modality that has words as its raw material, used in the construction of stories or in the expression of emotions and ideas, which is why it deserves more attention from the authorities, as it is a segment with little income.<\/p>\n

Along the same path, the writer, Mbuta Kene, from the province of Huambo, understands that literature is the art of words, therefore, it is essential that its creators have their production subsidized, so that the final product reaches readers cheaper.<\/p>\n

The author of Brigada Jovem de Literatura, in Hui\u0301la, Xia KMK, highlighted the relevance of seeing the literary works of those who make art and letters increasingly improved and published, where more attention should be paid to those who write the thought.<\/p>\n

According to the writer, there is still \u201cgreat\u201d work on the part of art and literature makers who are emerging and trying to create worthwhile literature, but are faced with a lack of resources.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the provincial coordinator of the Academy of Authors of Hui\u0301la (ASA), Valdemar Ribeiro, considered it essential that the country invest more in book houses, to stimulate man’s cognitive census.<\/p>\n

He recalled that the organization he directs is editing and publishing literary and non-literary works in digital format on the ASA\/Hui\u0301la portal for free, to make it easier for writers to contribute their knowledge.<\/p>\n

\u201cAngola is a culturally diverse country and it is necessary that new writers, even those who have been at it for some time, continue to emphasize what is the collective memory of the people of Angola\u201d, he said.<\/p>\n
