Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The province of Cuando Cubango has benefited, from 2022 to this year, through the Agrarian Development Support Fund, Credit Support Project and the Socio-Economic and Productive Program for Ex-military personnel, two billion 865 million 112 thousand and 370 kwanzas, with the execution of 176 projects.<\/b><\/p>\n

The data was presented Friday, by the head of the provincial department of Support for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (INAPEM) in Cuando Cubango, Jacob Paulo, having mentioned that the projects were selected based on their eligibility for the Support Program to Production, Export Diversification and Import Substitution (PRODESI).<\/p>\n

According to him, the financed projects generated 614 direct jobs, in the agriculture and industry sectors, with more benefit from credits, having detailed that, within the scope of the PAC, more than 983 million kwanzas were made available, which made it possible to finance 50 projects and create 285 direct jobs.<\/p>\n

Through FADA, he continued, Cuando Cubango had financing of 282 million kwanzas, through 94 projects, for the same number of young beneficiaries to promote agricultural activity, while in the Socio-Economic and Productive Program for Ex-Militaries it received 32, of the 500 tractors distributed throughout the country.<\/p>\n

According to Jacob Paulo, during the current year, 485 businesspeople from different fields of activity, including 112 women, were trained at Cuando Cubango in matters of entrepreneurship, tax education and citizenship.<\/p>\n

Likewise, 48 companies were formalized and applied for credit from the Angolan Venture Capital Active Fund (FACRA), as well as 122 micro, small and medium-sized companies certified, with greater emphasis on micro-enterprises, with a percentage of 95 percent of the total, in the commerce and service provision sectors.<\/p>\n
