Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>UNITA provincial secretary, Mardane\u0302s Calunga, sunday reiterated the party’s commitment to contributing to the economic and social development of the province and the country in general, through actions and participation in public life.<\/b><\/p>\n

Without providing details, the politician highlighted that UNITA will continue to work to achieve this desire, noting that there is still much to be done for the development of the province and the well-being of its citizens.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the end of the 2023 political year in the province, Mardane\u0302s Calunga also expressed the intention of materializing local authorities as UNITA’s political challenges for the coming times.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, he challenged the activists of JURA and LIMA, the party’s youth and women’s organizations, to raise awareness among citizens to persuade the Executive to hold local authorities in 2024.<\/p>\n

Regarding the political year now closed, the politician considered that many planned actions had not been completed, with emphasis on tasks aimed at political and administrative stabilization, among others that are carried over to 2024.<\/p>\n

He stated that despite this, grassroots organizations and municipal secretariats were restructured, among other actions, with emphasis on interaction with the provincial government, regarding projects and the life of the province.<\/p>\n

The closing act was marked with a meeting to reflect on the life of the party and was witnessed by activists from the 14 municipalities of Malanje.<\/p>\n
