Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The 2nd commander of the Central Military Region, Brigadier Sapalo Baptista Tchimuhenguele, highlighted this Thursday, improving the living conditions of personnel and ensuring the fulfillment of the mission, as one of the main bets for 2024.<\/b><\/p>\n

The military leader, who was speaking at the traditional end-of-year greeting ceremony, said that the Command of this military zone will continue to develop initiatives that guarantee the quality of life of the troops, from improving the diet, quartering and working conditions.<\/p>\n

According to Brigadier Sapalo Tchimuhenguele, the RMC will also pay special attention to the process of military, patriotic, legal, civic, moral and health education.<\/p>\n

Among the goals, he said, are the permanent elevation of the feeling of love for the country, the spirit of national unity and reconciliation, discipline, the unbreakable will to always serve Angola well and the levels of combat readiness.<\/p>\n

He added that the RMC also aims to improve correspondence with the personnel’s family members, in order to cement trust and rapprochement, between the different levels in the fulfillment of military duty, reinforce the non-partisan nature and continue to fight against major endemic diseases, despite the maintenance and conservation of technique and weapons.<\/p>\n

He reaffirmed the continuous contribution and firm participation of the staff in the ongoing challenges in the country, especially with regard to respect for democratic institutions, consolidation of peace, national unity and, fundamentally, the guarantee of the territorial integrity of the provinces of Benguela, Bie\u0301 , Cuanza Sul and Huambo (military zone headquarters).<\/p>\n
