Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of Finance, Vera Daves, stated, last Friday, in Luena, Moxico province, that the Executive is committed to settling, later this year, the debts it contracted with the companies that provided services to the State, in the periods 2013\/2019 and 2020\/2023.<\/b><\/p>\n

Vera Daves, who met in the city of Luena with local businesspeople, with the aim of listening and analyzing the economic and financial problems that affect the business class, said that with the execution of the General State Budget (OGE-2024), from Tomorrow, Tuesday, provincial governments and municipal administrations must ensure the settlement of existing debts from the periods 2013\/2019 and 2020\/2023.<\/p>\n

The head of the Finance portfolio also said that, within the scope of the execution of the paralyzed projects, “a follow-up meeting will soon be held, with members of the Government, municipal administrations and technicians from the ministries, so that the social projects and are available to the population\u201d.<\/p>\n

For Vera Daves, “the technical teams of the Government of Moxico must be trained so that the Budget allocated to the province can cover all registered projects\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will work during the 2024\/2025 period to make the public investment portfolio in the province of Moxico as stable as possible\u201d, he noted.<\/p>\n

Ten agricultural cooperatives<\/p>\n

During her stay in Luena, the Minister of Finance witnessed the launch of the memorandum of the Agrarian Development Support Fund (FADA) for 10 agricultural cooperatives belonging to former combatants.<\/p>\n

It should be remembered that a total of 2,326 projects were registered in Moxico, valued at more than 18.7 billion kwanzas.<\/p>\n

Still in the province of Moxico, the minister visited the facilities of the Provincial Finance Delegation, the works of the Polytechnic Institute of Alto Luena, which has been suspended since 2012, the Kwenha school, with 24 rooms, and the 19-room school, located in the Tchifutchi neighborhood, the Mother and Child Center, as well as the works to seal the ravines and the asphalting project for the Captac\u0327a\u0303o\/ETA section.<\/p>\n
