Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The modalities of Handball and Basketball are the new bets that Escola Sport Clube do Moxico will embrace this year (2024) in its athlete training schedule, along with football, I learned, this Tuesday, in Luena.<\/b><\/p>\n

Founded on April 14, 2017, the school has contributed to the training of several athletes in football at the initial, youth and junior levels, who have stood out in the \u201cGirabola\u201d National Championship.<\/p>\n

Among the athletes who have passed through this school, Dabanda stands out, serving Sagrada Esperanc\u0327a da Lunda Norte, Higino, Edmilson, Mayamba, Vadinho, Osvaldo, Rosario, Tiago, Miro, currently representing Bravos do Maquis do Moxico and Cale\u0301, signing join the Petro de Luanda junior team.<\/p>\n

To contribute to the maintenance of the project to train more athletes, the school benefited, this Tuesday, from a kit of sports materials, in an initiative by the athlete Felisberto Dala \u201cDabanda\u201d, consisting of 60 pieces of equipment (shirts and shorts), 40 socks and a ball.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, Dabanda reiterated that the gesture aims to strengthen the school’s project, with a view to participating adequately in local and national championships.<\/p>\n

The secretary of Escola Sport Clube do Moxico, Tchinhama Muzanga, thanked the former graduate for his initiative, ensuring that despite the absence of an official sponsor, the association currently has 250 athletes in three levels, with Handball and Basketball being the next challenges.<\/p>\n
