Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The government of Namibe reiterated, this Thursday, its commitment to working towards the social conditions of the population, particularly former combatants and veterans of the country.<\/b><\/p>\n

In a note, in connection with the day of the martyrs of colonial repression, which is marked (January 4), he states that he is engaged in mobilizing resources aimed at creating conditions that aim to raise the standard of living of former combatants, through the implementation of social assistance and socioeconomic reintegration programs.<\/p>\n

He recognizes that there is still a lot to be done in order to give more dignity to this fringe of society.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn this date of celebration and reflection, let us exalt all the Angolan heroes who sacrificed themselves to make National Independence possible and the achievement of definitive peace in the country\u201d, it reads.<\/p>\n

It calls for the need to value and dignify the fighters of the national liberation struggle, publicizing actions that aim to perpetuate their achievements.<\/p>\n

In Namibe, the sector controls more than 900 former combatants and veterans of the country.<\/p>\n
