Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Secretary of State for Administration, Finance and Heritage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), Maria Auxiliadora Ramiro, discussed, on Monday, in Luanda, with the class of diplomats, the working conditions and challenges of the institution.<\/b><\/p>\n

The meeting, according to a note, aimed to consult professionals and collect contributions, “which help to mitigate the range of less good situations, which condition the proper functioning of MIREX.<\/p>\n

For four hours, the person in charge was questioned about the criteria for entry and promotion in the special career (diplomatic career), the injustices that have been committed in these processes over the years, the low salary conditions and other benefits.<\/p>\n

Maria Auxiliadora Ramiro also heard contributions with a view to improving the quality of human resources, through specific and specialized training, creation of dynamics and experiences capable of providing an effective and efficient response to the problems faced by the institution.<\/p>\n

The MIREX Secretary of State took “good note” of all the ideas put forward by the diplomats, but also demonstrated her commitment to seeing many of the concerns presented resolved.<\/p>\n

Maria Auxiliadora Ramiro said, the note reads, that she is working hard to make the Staff Rotation Plan a reality, improve salary issues and other social conditions, as well as resolve specific and duly identified cases of labor injustices.<\/p>\n

Likewise, he committed to continuing to receive subsidies from diplomats, which aim to overcome the concerns shared at yesterday’s meeting and others, transversal to employees.<\/p>\n

The meeting was also part of the plan for selective and targeted work meetings, promoted by the Secretary of State at the beginning of the year, with a view to creating a new dynamic of participatory management, active and capable of producing tangible results for the good of the collective.<\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, the commitment of management and workers to achieve the objective of making MIREX an institution capable of meeting the challenges of continuing to better serve the country was confirmed.<\/p>\n
