Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone (ZEE) took over the offices of the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) Thursday, after signing an agreement for the installation of this organization on the African continent. <\/b><\/p>\n

According to the World Organization of Free Zones, ZEE Luanda-Bengo becomes a key regional institution for the dissemination and expansion of the various services provided by this institution.<\/p>\n

According to the President of the Board of Directors of (ZEE), Manuel Pedro, who signed the agreement with his partner from the World Organization of Free Zones, Samir Hamrouni, it results from ZEE’s internationalization strategy and the implementation of a physical office to boost actions in the southern region of Africa.<\/p>\n

According to him, one of the ZEE’s strategies consists of enhancing regional trade, taking into account the more than 400 million inhabitants and existing natural resources.<\/p>\n

The agreement represents the consolidation of the ZEE’s strategic positioning in the southern region, becoming the gateway to other countries in the World Free Zones Organization (WFZO).<\/p>\n

The World Organization of Free Zones elected ZEE Luanda-Bengo EP as the official representative of the organization at the level of the southern African region, and to implement the regional office that aims to provide all services provided by the World Organization of Free Zones in the region.<\/p>\n
