Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>At least 46,985 jobs have been created nationally, under the Action Plan and Promotion of Employability (PAPE), since it was launched in September 2020.<\/b><\/p>\n

The information was released yesterday in the municipality of Cameia, Moxico province, by the director of the Planning and Management Office of the Ministry of Public Administration, Labor and Social Security (MAPTSS), Leonardo Bernardo, when he was delivering 54 kits to the promotion of self-employment.<\/p>\n

Leonardo Bernardo advanced that PAPE has facilitated the execution of projects regarding the granting of micro-credit, attribution of professional kits in the context of promoting self-employment, the formalization of businesses and professional internships.<\/p>\n

The official assured that the Executive has placed among the priorities raising the levels of economic well-being of the population, through a set of projects, programs and measures aimed at empowering families and young people, in particular.<\/p>\n

The director referred that the PAPE is a set of policies of activities of the job market that aims at the immediate insertion of young people in associative activities to generate income and employment.<\/p>\n

He referred that the focus on training the national workforce in the short and long term will facilitate the assessment and certification of skills for the attribution of professional cards, as well as the formalization and allocation of micro-credits and professional kits, thus complying with the , the selection criteria.<\/p>\n

With the implementation of this measure, he underlined, the practical and realistic solution to restore the citizens’ hope through the immediate insertion of young people into the job market will be closer and closer.<\/p>\n

For example, in Moxico, PAPE has already covered a total of 3,061 young people and created 2,540 jobs. Throughout the national territory, the professional training program aims to cover a universe of 60 thousand young people and guarantee 83 thousand jobs.<\/p>\n
