Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>One thousand and 36 citizens from the commune of Cassumbe, municipality of Andulo, province of Bie\u0301, benefited, for the first time, from the Identity Card (BI), within the scope of the civil registration and attribution of this document mass program.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The action is from the Justice and Human Rights sector, which distributed the document free of charge to children, young people and adults.<\/p>\n<p>The municipal director of records and administrative modernization of Andulo, Arse\u0301nio Neves Tchambangandji, in statements this Friday to the press, highlighted that, for the project, the institution had support from the municipal administration.<\/p>\n<p>For his part, the communal administrator of Cassumbe, Mateus Junjuvile, valued the commitment of the justice sector and encouraged the expansion of services to more areas of the municipality, aiming to benefit other citizens.<\/p>\n<p>In Bie\u0301, eight thousand 74 Identity Cards issued in 2023 are yet to be collected, at twelve existing Civil Identification posts, due to user negligence.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, more than 79 Identity Cards were issued, 45 thousand of which were processed for the first time, six thousand for the second copy, over 26 thousand for renewals and 70 thousand for endorsements.<\/p>\n<p>Three 403 criminal records were also issued.<\/p>\n<p>The activities carried out by the President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, with emphasis on the working visit to the province of Huambo, where he inaugurated several social infrastructures, dominated the week&#8217;s political news.<\/p>\n<p>The inaugurated infrastructures are linked to the health, media, public administration, labor and social security and culture sectors.<\/p>\n<p>The province of Huambo now has an Integrated Technological Training Center (CINFOTEC) with capacity for 1,464 trainees, with more than 30 laboratories and six workshops.<\/p>\n<p>CINFOTEC in Huambo will host 732 trainees in each training period and is a donation from the Chinese government to Angola, in an investment of around 30 million dollars.<\/p>\n<p>Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o also inaugurated CEFOJOR Huambo with innovative capabilities for training staff in various specialties in the field of communication.<\/p>\n<p>A multidisciplinary cultural center was also inaugurated, called Manuel Rui, in honor of the nationalist, writer and co-author of the Angola Avante National Anthem, as well as a Hemodialysis Center.<\/p>\n<p>The Head of State also visited the Agricultural Fair that took place at the Serra Van-Du\u0301nem Multipurpose Pavilion, and evaluated the works on the Missa\u0303o do Dondi University Campus, in the municipality of Catchiungo, as well as attended a service by the Evangelical Congregational Church of Angola (Evange\u0301lica Congregacional de Angola) ( ACEI).<\/p>\n<p>The inauguration of the new director and deputy director of the Ceremony of the President of the Republic, respectively, Virgi\u0301lio Domingos da Silva Ju\u0301lio and Maria Teresa Adelaide Bento Lourenc\u0327o also echoed.<\/p>\n<p>At the ceremony, those inducted swore loyalty to the country, cooperation in achieving the highest purposes of the State and defense of the order established by the Constitution.<\/p>\n<p>Also noteworthy are the tributes and burial in the Alto das Cruzes Cemetery of the Angolan nationalist Rui Mingas, who died in Lisbon, Portugal, victim of illness, at the age of 84.<\/p>\n<p>At the wake, held at the Army Headquarters, the Head of State wrote in the book of condolences about Rui Mingas&#8217; achievements as a nationalist, sportsman, diplomat, deputy and rector of a private university.<\/p>\n<p>He added that, on several fronts and in different roles, the deceased represented the country with talent and dignity, starting by raising Angola&#8217;s name in professional athletics and, from a very early age, established himself as a composer and singer, including the National Anthem, and as a symbol of resistance against colonial power.<\/p>\n<p>In turn, the Vice-President of the Republic, Esperanc\u0327a da Costa, wrote in the book that Rui Mingas&#8217; achievements in politics, diplomacy, sport and art transcend borders and make the country great.<\/p>\n<p>AN mentioned, in a eulogy, that the deputies bow to the memory of Rui Mingas for the work that continues for a fair and developed Angola.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassador Marcos Barrica, representing Angolan diplomacy, highlighted that the deceased, as head of the diplomatic mission in Portugal, played a preponderant role in the prestige and good name of the \u201cmother country\u201d, in a context of great political transformation with the extinction of the Soviet Union and German unification.<\/p>\n<p>The return to the Executive of the Proposed Law on Public Funds by the National Assembly also marked the political news of the week.<\/p>\n<p>The National Assembly (AN) returned to the Executive, during the joint specialty meeting, the Proposed Law on the General Regime of Public Funds for due improvement.<\/p>\n<p>The Proposed Law on the General Regime of Public Funds, assessed by the Council of Ministers and sent to the AN, establishes the legal regime applicable to the creation, organization, operation, management, supervision, evaluation and extinction of public funds.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, it was announced that the AN Plenary will hold, on the 25th of this month, the final global vote on the proposed Law on Combating the Smuggling of Petroleum Products, which passed, this Friday, through the specialized working committees.<\/p>\n<p>With four chapters and 22 articles, the Executive&#8217;s initiative diploma was unanimously approved, in particular, during the joint meeting of the committees responsible for the matter (1st, 2nd, 5th and 10th committees), with parliamentarians suggesting some changes in matters of form, amendments and corrections of terms.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For More News And Analysis About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/angola\">Angola<\/a> Follow <a href=\"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/\">Africa-Press<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Africa-Press &#8211;
