Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The former captain of the National Football Team, Alcebi\u0301ades Maieco \u201cAkwa\u0301\u201d, told this Sunday that he feels valued for his presence in the African Championship (CAN’2023), which takes place in Co\u0302te d’Ivoire.<\/b><\/p>\n

Invited as an ambassador for the African Football Confederation (CAF), Akwa\u0301 speaks in recognition of the work well done as a player for national teams and clubs in Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n

The biggest reference in Angolan football in recent decades, recalls that this is the second time that he has been recognized for his achievements in the \u201cKing\u201d sport, after in 2022 being invited by the Qatar Confederation to the World Championship that he hosted.<\/p>\n
