Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Sixty-two different infractions were registered, in the province of Bengo, during the Christmas operation, by the National Authority for Economic Inspection and Food Safety (ANIESA), to prevent price speculation.<\/b><\/p>\n

Of this number of infractions, the most notable are the registration of expired products, the lack of invoices, the structure for calculating product prices, the commercial license, the advertising license, the price display and the solid waste license.<\/p>\n

At the end of the operation, which ran from December 24, 2023 to January 5, 2024, 977 bags of powdered milk and 1,574 packages of bread production improvers and other products with an expiration date were seized and will be destroyed shortly.<\/p>\n

The head of ANIESA in Bengo, Pedro Katendi, reported that 29 economic operators were notified and fines were applied, resulting in more than eight million Kwanzas.<\/p>\n

During the Christmas operation, 148 economic operators were inspected, 12 in the municipality of Ambriz, three in Bula, 110 in Dande, seven in Dembos, six in Pango Aluque\u0301m and ten in Nambuangongo.<\/p>\n

The National Authority for Economic Inspection and Food Safety (ANIESA) has the mission of controlling the prices and quality of products on sale.<\/p>\n

It is the inspection body for economic activities that includes inspectors from commerce, hotels, health and agriculture.<\/p>\n
