Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>One hundred and seventy-seven (177) former combatants and veterans of the country received this Monday, in Cabinda, cards that give priority or exemption from payments in hospitals, public transport, as well as some fees related to public administration.<\/b><\/p>\n

The handover took place in the Amphitheater of the Instituto Superior Polite\u0301cnico, during the celebrations of the National Day of Former Combatants and Veterans of the Fatherland, which is celebrated (15 January). ING<\/p>\n

In the Province of Cuanza Sul, the vice-governor for the political, social and economic sector, Emi\u0301lia Tchinawalile, reiterated the government’s commitment to improving the lives of former combatants and veterans of the country and their families.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will continue to work to improve the quality of life of former combatants and veterans of the country and their families, as this is our focus\u201d, he said in the event, which took place under the motto \u201cUnited in diversity, strong and firm in construction of a better Angola\u201d.<\/p>\n
