Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Supporter Teresa Joa\u0303o, whose video supporting the National Football Team went viral on social media, was invited by the FAF to travel to Co\u0302te d’Ivoire, to watch in person the Palancas Negras games at the African Nations Championship (CAN’). 2023).<\/b><\/p>\n

In the video, the fan appears dancing and singing, dressed in the colors of the national flag, speaking words of comfort and encouragement to the Palancas Negras players and technical team moments before the match with Algeria.<\/p>\n

At the end of this debut match played on Monday night, in Bouake\u0301, the Palancas Negras drew (1-1) with Algeria for Group D, which also includes Burkina Faso and Mauritania.<\/p>\n

Due to their encouraging and solidarity gesture, the FAF (Angolan Football Federation) decided to invite fans to closely follow the national team’s games.<\/p>\n

After the game with two-time champion Algeria, Angola faces Mauritania on Saturday for the second round of Group D.<\/p>\n

With the valuable draw obtained at the Esta\u0301dio da Paz, a victory for the Palancas Negras against Mauritania would practically place Angola in the round of 16 of this 34th edition of the CAN, which takes place from the 13th of January to the 11th of February, in Co\u0302te d’Ivoire.<\/p>\n
