Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Fifty-six million and 962 thousand kwanzas is the value of assets recovered, in the province of Ui\u0301ge, in the year 2023, by the delegation of the local General Inspectorate of State Administration (IGAE).<\/b><\/p>\n

The announcement was made this Wednesday, in the city of Ui\u0301ge, by the local IGAE delegate, Francisco Sobrinho, during a conference lunch that marked the celebrations of the 32 years of existence of this body.<\/p>\n

The person responsible reported that during the period, 14 vehicles, six motorbikes and several household appliances were recovered that were in the illegal possession of former managers.<\/p>\n

He also clarified that from the inspection actions carried out in 2023, IGAE found several irregularities in the PIIM execution actions, which allowed triggering processes that were referred to the local PGR.<\/p>\n

He also said that during the period, the institution’s “call center” received 1,006 reports of harmful management, corruption and other illegal acts, which were registered, resulting in the opening of 80 cases, which were forwarded to the PGR, for due legal procedures. that is required.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe culture of reporting within our population has increased today. Almost every day we receive calls from users and employees asking IGAE to intervene in improving the public service\u201d, said Francisco Sobrinho.<\/p>\n

In turn, the vice-governor of Ui\u0301ge for Technical Services and Infrastructures, Helena Vieira Dias, highlighted the supervisory role of IGAE in this region of the country, whose work has contributed to responding to the plans drawn up by the government, aiming to improve the social conditions of the local population.<\/p>\n

Created on January 17, 1992, IGAE is an auxiliary body of the Executive, with the objective of carrying out internal administrative control of public administration, through inspection, inspection, audit, supervision, control, inquiry and investigations of all bodies, bodies and services of the direct and indirect administration of the State, as well as autonomous administrations.<\/p>\n
