Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Angola’s tourism potential has been publicized, since Tuesday, on the largest advertising panels in the city of New York (United States of America), in an initiative by Angolan international model Maria Borges.<\/b><\/p>\n

The promotion is being done through an advertising campaign, called “We Are Angolan”, in Time Square, one of the main tourist attractions in the North American city.<\/p>\n

In a press release, the Angolan tourism ambassador informs that she will continue with the campaign in the cities of New Jersey, Los Angeles, Chicago, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, Canada and the United Kingdom, to publicize the country’s potential.<\/p>\n

The model intends, with this, to attract investors to the tourism sector, as well as to the film industry, in order to produce films in Angola.<\/p>\n

Maria Borges also intends to capitalize on her image, in order to increase the country’s tourist potential on the largest advertising panels, as well as on other platforms around the world.<\/p>\n

Angola’s new airport infrastructure is also highlighted in advertisements.<\/p>\n

Maria Borges has carried out observation visits in some provinces of the country, with emphasis on Benguela, Hui\u0301la, Nami\u0301be and Malanje, in order to assess the conditions and services available, for better international dissemination.<\/p>\n

Over the last ten years, the model has become one of the biggest names in Angolan fashion, becoming the only face from Angola who participated in the “Paris Haute Couture Week” and in all the official weeks of the “International Fashion Circuit, Paris, Milan, London and New York.\u201d<\/p>\n
