Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The Portuguese ambassador to Angola, Francisco Alegre Duarte, said he is working to improve procedures and achieve concrete progress, in the scope of granting visas to Angolan citizens interested in traveling to his country.<\/b><\/p>\n

The diplomat, who addressed the matter after an audience with the President of the National Assembly, Fernando Dias dos Santos, highlighted the signing, in July 2021, of a visa facilitation protocol, as well as the mobility agreement within the scope of the Portuguese Language Community (CPLP).<\/p>\n

In this sense, the Portuguese Embassy has granted, since March 2020, a total of 13 thousand visas, not three thousand, as we reported yesterday. Thus, as of June last year, medical treatment visas have increased by 300 percent, while study visas have increased by 390 percent and, overall, have risen by 400 percent.<\/p>\n
