Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The central defender of the National Football Team, Kialonda Gaspar, was elected \u201cman of the match\u201d in Tuesday’s 2-0 victory over Burkina Faso.<\/b><\/p>\n

Played at the Charles Konan Banny Stadium, in Yamoussoukro, in the match referring to the 3rd and final round (Group D) of CAN`2023, which takes place in five cities in Co\u0302te d`Ivoire, the Estrela de Amadora international convinced the jury, through his performance, highlighting positioning on the field and aerial play capacity.<\/p>\n

The goals of the match, in which Angola, already qualified for the round of 16, confirmed the leadership of group D, with seven points, were scored by Mabululu, in the 36th minute, and Zine Salvador, in the 90+3.<\/p>\n

Largely due to his performances in the African competition, Kialonda Gaspar has been sought after by big teams in Europe, especially.<\/p>\n

The confirmation comes from the president of the formation of the first Lusa league, Paulo Lopo, having recently confirmed his interest in receiving a proposal from the Russian club and expression of interest from FC Porto.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old player (1.93m), a starter in Angola’s starting eleven in the African competition, who arrived in Portugal last season, has a release clause of 7.5 million euros (one euro is equivalent to kz 904 ,54).<\/p>\n

The Angolan international, formerly of Sagrada Esperanc\u0327a da Lunda-Norte, signed for two seasons with Estrela da Amadora, from the Primeira Liga.<\/p>\n

He is the second Angolan player to earn such distinction from CAF, after Gelson Dala.<\/p>\n

The striker was recognized as such in last Saturday’s clash, at the Paz Stadium, in which the National Team beat Mauritania, 3-2, in the 2nd round of group D.<\/p>\n

The Al Wakrah international from Qatar had an exceptional performance in the challenge with two goals scored in the 30th and 50th minutes, the third being scored by Gilberto (53′). Sidi Amar (43′), while Aboubakary Koita (58′) scored for the opponent.<\/p>\n

The 27-year-old player was trained at 1.o de Agosto (Angola club).<\/p>\n
