Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>Twenty thousand and 500 liters of diesel, destined for the neighboring Republic of Namibia, were seized in the last seven days, by National Police personnel, in the province of Cunene, due to attempted smuggling.<\/b><\/p>\n

The fuel, valued at three million and 700 thousand kwanzas, (360 kz per liter) was packed in plastic containers, measuring 200, 100 and 25 liters, for sale in Namibian territory.<\/p>\n

The fact was made public this Saturday by the acting director of Institutional Communication of the provincial Command of the National Police, Inspector Samuel Casaco, stating that the fuel was allegedly purchased at the gas stations in Ondjiva, Namacunde and Ombadja.<\/p>\n

During the event, the person responsible also presented various goods that had been stolen and stolen from homes and beyond, recovered by specialists from the Department of Criminal Offenses (DIIP).<\/p>\n

Among the assets, there are eight vehicles, nine motorbikes, three pistol-type firearms, 18 butane gas cylinders, 10 cell phones, eight plasma televisions, two computers, three hair cutting machines, 25 heads of cattle (15 goats and 10 cattle), construction material and 106 narcotic rolling papers.<\/p>\n

For alleged involvement in this action, he said that 32 national citizens were arrested, who have already been presented to the Public Prosecutor’s Office.<\/p>\n

The operation took place from December 31, 2023 to January 7 of this year.<\/p>\n
