Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, sent a message of support to the national football team that is playing in Bouake\u0301, the first game of the round of 16 of the CAN, with Namibia.<\/b><\/p>\n

Angola and Namibia take part this Saturday, from 6pm, at the Paz Stadium, in Bouake\u0301, in the opening of the round of 16 of the 34th edition of the African Football Championship (CAN`2023), taking place in Co\u0302te d`Ivoire.<\/p>\n

On his Facebook page, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o wrote: “In this CAN, our brave Palancas are having a victorious and glorious journey”.<\/p>\n

In today’s decisive game, he adds, the millions of Angolans are with you, confident in the capabilities and fighting spirit demonstrated.<\/p>\n

He states that the Angolans are optimistic and confident of victory and concludes with “Forc\u0327a Palancas, Forc\u0327a Angola”.<\/p>\n
