Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The new deputy prosecutor of the province of Huambo, Deodato Jose\u0301 Paim dos Santos Ina\u0301cio, highlighted, this Tuesday, the need to prevent economic and financial crimes and the elevation of the legal culture of the population, with a focus on improving the well-being -being common.<\/b><\/p>\n

The magistrate was speaking to the press, moments after being introduced to the governor of the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, replacing Jose\u0301 Maria Gomes Gustavo, who held these roles for four years.<\/p>\n

Deotato Jose\u0301 Ina\u0301cio committed to working on moralizing society, with a view to preventing acts of vandalization of public assets, corruption and money laundering, as well as abuse against children.<\/p>\n

He said that these actions will be developed through training seminars and lectures in school institutions, as well as in public places with a greater population concentration in order to disseminate legal knowledge that leads to encouraging interaction with the bodies involved in the administration of Justice in anytime.<\/p>\n

He specified that this dissemination program will involve traditional and religious authorities, municipal administrations, media outlets and all the living forces of society, to replicate, in a timely manner, legal values \u200b\u200band, at the same time, prevent situations criminals in communities.<\/p>\n

He promised to continue with the \u201cTalk to Attorney\u201d program, to contribute to the legal education of the population and bring justice services closer to communities, with a view to improving crime preventive actions.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTalk to Attorney\u201d program is a process that brings justice agents closer to the population, to disseminate legal tools and the role of the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office in communities.<\/p>\n

In brief statements, the governor of the province of Huambo, Lotti Nolika, said that the local government is willing to cooperate with the Attorney General’s Office (PGR) in promoting sustainable development, through the prevention of crime.<\/p>\n

Since 2020, the province of Huambo has had close to 160 investigations into corruption and related crimes, some of which have been sent to the local District Court.<\/p>\n
