Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>With 15 companies in the diamond and non-diamond sectors, Angola participates, from the 5th to the 8th of February, in the 30th International Conference on Mining in Africa, known as Mining INDABA, in Cape Town, South Africa.<\/b><\/p>\n

This is the largest African investment event in the mining sector, celebrating its 30th edition in 2024, taking place under the motto \u201cEmbracing the power of positive disruption: a bold new future for African mining\u201d.<\/p>\n

Angola will be present with companies from the diamond subsector, namely ENDIAMA-EP, SODIAM-EP, ENDIAMA MINING, CATOCA, LUELE, CHITOTOLO, FURI and Kaixepa, as well as companies from the non-diamond subsector, especially AJ Silva, Geosondas, HM Granitos, Minbos and Shining Star.<\/p>\n

The Angolan delegation, represented by the Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, also includes companies in the sector, such as the National Mineral Resources Agency and the Geological Institute of Angola.<\/p>\n

The administrator of ENDIAMA EP, Ana Feijo\u0301, when launching the event, said that the delegation will promote the country’s mining potential, present business opportunities to attract and capture foreign investment to leverage the projects, transmit Angolan experience, identify and establish partnerships in the domain of mining and service provision.<\/p>\n

According to the person responsible, it is planned to participate in several work sessions, in order to gather knowledge and experiences about innovation and sustainable practices applicable to the national mining industry.<\/p>\n

He said there is a \u201chuge\u201d expectation about Angola\u2019s participation, as ENDIAMA, for example, takes several primary and secondary mining projects to the competition to attract potential investors.<\/p>\n

To this end, as in previous editions, Angola presents itself with two stands, maintaining the motto \u201cThe mining potential of Angola\u201d for the ministry’s institutions and various other forms of the non-diamond subsector, and \u201cThe potential of the Angolan diamond\u201d, which will be displayed on the diamond companies’ stand.<\/p>\n

The 6th, the second day of the event that will bring together more than six thousand speakers from more than 100 countries, will be dedicated to \u201cAngola Day\u201d, which will promote a business forum under the motto “Angola: mining potential and business opportunities for investors.\u201d<\/p>\n
