Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The president of the Angolan Bar Association (OAA), Jose\u0301 Lui\u0301s Domingos, stated Wednesday, in this city, that he will invest seriously in training and improving working conditions for members.<\/b><\/p>\n

After a courtesy meeting with provincial vice-governor Adilson Gonc\u0327alves, Jose\u0301 Domingos said that he requested from the authorities, within the scope of infrastructure management, to find some mechanism to accommodate the OAA\/Benguela with more dignity.<\/p>\n

The president considers that the OAA has a long way to go to restore the dignity of its members, hence investing seriously in their training, training and provision of infrastructure to create a provincial academy for the class.<\/p>\n

He lamented the fact that the Order, throughout the country, was facing structural and cyclical problems, admitting that he was aware that overcoming these obstacles requires time, work, good will and institutional solidarity.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring our mandate, we promised to make the Order more national, which will involve constant visits to provincial councils and monitoring the level of implementation of concerns\u201d, said the jurist.<\/p>\n

On the occasion, he was surprised by the level of openness of the vice-governor, who expressed his willingness to collaborate with all society and associations, which makes the OAA more hopeful, because it foresees a very profitable and advantageous partnership for the Benguela community.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe concerns that we have already reiterated about a set of infrastructures that are currently vacant and in the possession of the Provincial Government remain, and the OAA has every interest in finding a legal mechanism to restructure and manage them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, within the scope of the administration of justice, Jose\u0301 Lui\u0301s Domingos expressed concern about cases of arbitrary arrests that are still occurring.<\/p>\n

In his view, these are situations that can be overcome on the basis of frank institutional dialogue.<\/p>\n

“The OAA is aware that the closer it is to the executive bodies, respecting the independence of each one, the easier it will be to achieve these objectives”, he said.<\/p>\n

The visit by the OAA president is part of strengthening its relationship with the executive branch.<\/p>\n

His agenda also includes meetings with the presiding judge, judge and chief deputy prosecutor for the central region of the Attorney General’s Office, provincial delegate of the Ministry of the Interior and delivery of ballots to 37 lawyers.<\/p>\n
