Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the MPLA, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, highlighted this Saturday, in Luanda, as the party’s greatest challenge for 2024 the socio-economic development of the country, with a view to the well-being of the populations.<\/b><\/p>\n

The leader of the ruling party, who spoke during the launch of this political formation’s 2024 political agenda, defended greater internal organization, as well as the need to better organize the national economy, the only way to guarantee economic and social development.<\/p>\n

According to Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, there are a set of steps to be taken to achieve this objective, one of which, which he considers very important and to be done, is the creation of a better business environment, so that the economy can be stronger and be able to produce more goods and services, as well as offering a greater number of jobs for Angolans, particularly young people.<\/p>\n

He said there was a lot of work to be done internally, and particular attention should be paid to the preparation of members, but especially cadres, in the face of current and future challenges, as well as the party’s connection with civil society.<\/p>\n

He highlighted that the MPLA is working and has always worked for the well-being of Angolans.<\/p>\n

For the President of the Republic, we cannot only count on those from the MPLA, but work with all patriotic citizens, who, together with the party, want to contribute to the country overcoming the numerous challenges, regardless of party choice.<\/p>\n

\u201cThroughout the year, we can hold many rallies at various levels in the provincial capitals, in the municipalities, but if we don\u2019t do our homework, internal party organization, knowing how many we are, who we can count on in the moment of truth , this could cost us dearly\u201d, he stressed.<\/p>\n

Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o also made reference to other topics such as administrative political division, local authorities, as well as pointing out the need for the MPLA to pay particular attention to the Angolan community abroad, to be closer, regardless of the work that the State must do with them.<\/p>\n

Held in the commune of Camama, municipality of Belas, the event was marked by a musical-cultural show, in which several groups and singers from the capital participated, with emphasis on Dom Caetano, Calabeto, Carlos Lamartine, Zeca Moreno and Yola Semedo.<\/p>\n
