Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>\u201cEmbracing the power of positive disruption: a bold new future for African mining\u201d is the motto of the 30th edition of the International Conference on Mining in Africa, known worldwide as Mining Indaba, which begins today ( Monday), in the city of Cape Town, South Africa.<\/b><\/p>\n

The organization is waiting for more than six thousand 500 delegates, including the Angolan presence of 14 companies from the diamond and non-diamond sub-sector, whose mission is headed by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino de Azevedo.<\/p>\n

The South African Head of State, Cyril Ramaphosa, is expected to open the Mining Indaba, an event that has attempted to accelerate the development of mining in Africa, after the cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions, due to the spread of Covid- 19.<\/p>\n

With the presence of 14 Angolan companies, the annual event, which is exclusively dedicated to the capitalization and development of miners in Africa, will present ways to manage the transition of critical minerals and embrace the power of positive disruption that aims to shed light on the future of African mining.<\/p>\n

Innovative visionaries from around the world, from at least 100 countries, will analyze the direction and importance that the Mining Indaba plays, over three decades, in connecting the global mining community and comprehensive perspective in shaping the African mining industry.<\/p>\n

Strategies for the oil industry, commodities, energy, formation of partnerships in various fields, as well as the impact of the minerals sector on the \u201cmarriage\u201d with the private sector, as well as such as the transformation of raw materials to increase employment, income and development of African people.<\/p>\n

Additionally, Mining Indaba continues to support education, career development, sustainable development and other important causes in Africa.<\/p>\n

The Mining Indaba \u201creturns\u201d hope to the extractive industries that are gaining ground on a continent full of natural wealth and home to countries with the largest reserves of miners in the world.<\/p>\n
