Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The MPLA’s Political Bureau (BP) made specific adjustments to its composition this Friday, in Luanda, with emphasis on the election of Esteves Hila\u0301rio to the position of secretary for Information and Propaganda, replacing Rui Falca\u0303o.<\/b><\/p>\n

According to the final communique\u0301 of the 1st Ordinary Meeting of the BP, called by the President of the party, Joa\u0303o Lourenc\u0327o, emphasis is placed on the change in the leadership of the MPLA parliamentary group in the National Assembly (AN), where Vi\u0301rgilio de Fontes Pereira, gives way to Joaquim Anto\u0301nio Carlos dos Reis Ju\u0301nior.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, the BP approved changes to the composition of the AN’s permanent working committees, as well as validating the proposed plan for holding the national seminar on ethics and integrity in public service.<\/p>\n

He analyzed the proposed resolution for the regularization of the MPLA leadership in the province of Cuanza-Norte, with approval for the provincial first secretary, Joa\u0303o Diogo Gaspar, and also approved the resolution on holding the extraordinary conference in the district.<\/p>\n

The Political Bureau also approved the general bases and general methodology for holding the IX Ordinary Congress of the JMPLA.<\/p>\n

The meeting, which had issues of organization and internal functioning of the party on its agenda, observed a minute of silence following the death of the president of SWAPO and the Republic of Namibia, Hage Geingob.<\/p>\n
