Angola. <\/strong><\/span><b>The results of the Quarterly Survey of Progress and Monitoring of Buildings in the Construction Process (ITAEPC) carried out by the National Statistics Institute (INE) show a decrease of below 4.38%, between the 2nd and 1st quarter of 2023.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned survey shows that 3,535 works were visited by the National Statistics Institute, of which 874 are in process and 2,661 are at a standstill, registering a decrease of below 4.38%.<\/p>\n<p>According to the provisional results for the 2nd quarter of 2023 from ITAEPC, published on the INE website, in the distribution of works in process, the provinces of Luanda stand out with 29.18%, Cuanza Sul with 17.51%, Bie\u0301 with 9, 38%, Huambo with 8.81% and Lunda Sul with 8.35%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The data shows that works by purpose, according to the province, are classified as housing with a total of 2,951, personal use with 481 and mixed purpose with 103.<\/p>\n<p>In the category of housing projects, Benguela stands out with 23.79%, Luanda with 13.25%, Ui\u0301ge with 11.62%, Cabinda with 9.62% and Hui\u0301la with 6.54%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the variable for own use, Zaire stands out with 27.86%, Ui\u0301ge with 25.78%, Hui\u0301la with 9.77%, Luanda with 6.03% and Bengo with 5.41%, according to data.<\/p>\n<p>In the mixed purpose category, Ui\u0301ge stands out with 20.39%, Lunda Sul with 18.45%, Luanda, Huambo and Cabinda with 10.68% each, Zaire with 7.77% and Hui\u0301la with 6.80%.<\/p>\n<p>INE says that works by type of builder are classified by private company with 86, professional\/master builder with 3,326 and family with 123, with analysis carried out by category, according to the province.<\/p>\n<p>According to the document, for works by type of builder, private companies stand out in the provinces of Cuanza Sul with 26.74%, Ui\u0301ge with 20.93%, Luanda with 16.28%, Zaire with 10.47% and Huambo and Lunda Sul with 4.65% each.<\/p>\n<p>In the professional\/master variable, Benguela is indicated with 21.68%, Ui\u0301ge with 14.10%, Luanda with 12.33% and Cabinda with 8.72%, respectively, according to the document, reinforcing that in the Family category it mentions Bie\u0301 with 18.18%, Cuanza Sul with 34.96%, Huambo with 14.63% and Hui\u0301la with 9.76%.<\/p>\n<p>According to the INE Bulletin, the destinations of the works are classified by residential works (housing) with 3,356 and non-residential works (consisting of industry, commerce, hospitals, schools, offices, churches and hotels) with 179.<\/p>\n<p>INE explains that the interpretation of these categories is made by province, where, in the residential category, Benguela stands out with 21.48%, Ui\u0301ge with 14.18%, Luanda with 11.98%, Cabinda with 8.70%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the non-residential category, Luanda stands out with 16.20%, Cuanza Sul and Lunda Sul with 12.29% each, Bengo and Cabinda with 11.17% each, Zaire with 10.61% and Ui\u0301ge with 6.70%.<\/p>\n<p>The Institute reinforces that the provinces that concentrate the largest gross area in square meters, in the quarter under analysis, are Zaire with 268,335.00, Luanda with 102,928.00, Lunda Sul with 98,421.00, Cuanza Sul with 85,060.8 and Bie\u0301 with 57,616.00, representing 30.89%, 11.85%, 11.33%, 9.79% and 6.63% respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The source says that the gross area by purpose, according to the province, is classified into works for housing, personal use and mixed purpose.<\/p>\n<p>In the housing works category, Luanda stands out with 20.87%, Lunda Sul with 13.08% and Bie\u0301 with 11.27%.<\/p>\n<p>As for the variable own use, Kwanza Sul is indicated with 41.21%, Zaire with 12.69%, Luanda with 9.31% and Luanda with 9.25%.<\/p>\n<p>In the mixed purpose category, Zaire stands out with 74.52%, Lunda Sul with 10.04% and Cuanza Norte with 3.73%.<\/p>\n<p>The gross area by type of builder is classified by private company with a total of 377,361.88 m2, professional\/master builder with a total of 441,553.57 m2 and family with a total of 48,534.76 m2, with analysis made by category, according to the province.<\/p>\n<p>For works by type of builder, private company, the provinces of Zaire are mentioned with 65.24%, Cuanza Sul with 15.61%, Ui\u0301ge with 5.68% and Luanda with 3.57%, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In the professional\/master variable, Lunda Sul stands out with 20.76%, Luanda with 19.90% and Bie\u0301 with 9.84%. In Familiar there is Bie\u0301 with 29.22%, Hui\u0301la with 28.33%, Cuanza Sul with 16.99% and Huambo with 6.71%.<\/p>\n<p>The gross area by destination is classified by residential and non-residential works, its analysis is carried out by province.<\/p>\n<p>In residential areas, Zaire stands out with 38.36%, Luanda with 12.78% and Lunda Sul with 8.23%.
