Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The President of the Republic, Jo\u00e3o Louren\u00e7o, on Saturday urged all Angolans on the need to consolidate peace and reconciliation, towards the economic and social development of the country, as well as the deepening of democracy.<\/b><\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the achievement of peace, the Head of State recalled that the long armed conflict left deep consequences, compromised the future of several generations of Angolans and postponed the dream of building a prosperous and developed Angola.<\/p>\n

“After these moments of sad memory are over, Angolans must today focus on the consolidation of peace and national reconciliation, on the deepening of democracy and on the economic and social development of the country”, highlighted the President of the Republic.<\/p>\n
