Africa-Press – Angola. <\/strong><\/span>The \u201cCAN`2023\u201d African Cup of Nations concluded, on Sunday night, in Co\u0302te d`Ivoire, with an emotional ceremony at the Ebimpe\u0301 Olympic Stadium, in Abidjan.<\/b><\/p>\n

An impressive light show illuminated the 60,000-capacity stadium as musical legends and rising stars captivated the crowd.<\/p>\n

One of the great attractions present was the former legend, the host Didier Drogba, who kicked things off, reading a message describing the emotions before and during the race.<\/p>\n

The iconic voice of Drogba, former captain of the Co\u0302te d`Ivoire national team, set the perfect tone for the stunning closing ceremony.<\/p>\n

The emerging sensations were followed by Team Paiya, whose song “hammer blow” has been an anthem of the tournament. Their fast paces kept energy levels high.<\/p>\n

Before the stars lit up center stage, an orchestra of 123 children captivated the stadium. The version of the official song \u201cAkwaba\u201d created a moving prelude.<\/p>\n

As future talent withdrew, the present took over. Drogba’s first words set the stage for a show that showcased the past, present and future of African music.<\/p>\n

The celebratory scenes provided a fitting end to a historic tournament full of drama and passion. After 30 exciting days, TotalEnergies CAF AFCON 2023 ended in style.<\/p>\n

In the stands, several leaders of continental football were present, in addition to the presence of the president of CAF, Patrice Motsepe, and the president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino.<\/p>\n

When the \u201cSuper Eagles\u201d and \u201cElephants\u201d appeared, the focus returned to the main event. But the closing ceremony recalled all the colorful pomp that illuminates this special AFCON.<\/p>\n
